the video card isn't to beefy for the motherboard or power supply?
the amd thing was more a price concern then anything else im not dead set and a super powerhouse system and as a recent college grad my funding for this isnt massive.
He hasn't built the computer yet so he can't run that.
AMD is a good cheap CPU if you are short on cash, and if you don't want to spend that much on the graphics card a 6850 or 6870 would be good too.
However if you do get a 6850, you should get this one instead: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150515
It comes with a Lifetime manufacturer warranty and XFX cards are great overall.
i went with sapphire 6850 the one i posted under the rig it was 150 and should be more then capable of doing what i need. and http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/ says i can run gw2 on my current rig so idk how much i trust it, ether way with the 6850 i should be fine
i dont remember exactly i got this thing like three years ago pre-build, and when i was looking at upgrading vs building a new one it was going to be easier to just sell this rig to my dad who doesnt need anything better than this and just put it toward a whole new one that is easier to upgradeExactly which processor? The Athlon II X4 620 Propus? Honestly, I would've kept that and got a mac daddy GPU and memory.
