Foods you REFUSE to eat.

Oh hell no.
Don't knock it till you try it :)[DOUBLEPOST=1376323090,1376323006][/DOUBLEPOST]
Rolled Oats are real breakfast food along with eggs and toast.

Cereal should never have been made though. Also French Toast is silly.
Well, I do admit that I enjoy oatmeal, and eggs are of course considered breakfast. Toast is just a side dish at best.

But French Toast is on the same wave as Pancakes and Waffles, but like the second cousin that you have to invite because it's family and Aunt Jemima will be angry with you if you exclude him.

Pass. There aren't too many foods I flat out won't try, but this is one that I'm perfectly fine w/going my whole life without trying.
Really? Coin them up and deep fried, if no one told you what they were you'd think they were delicious.

Well, maybe not, but I thought they were pretty damn good.

My gripe with food is generally only the unhealthy type stuff, but I do end up having some of it in moderation.

I don't remember the last time I ate chips.
I had a deep fried banana thing at sushi last Tuesday - oh and a scoop of ice cream.

I will try anything usually - not afraid of too much. Intestines sound kinda gross no matter how you put it though.

I will try ANYTHING once, as long as it's not something that is not supposed to be edible (y'know, plastics, gasoline, shit, etc). Many years ago, I had a teacher tell me that Woodchuck is one of the greatest jerky meats on the planet. I tried it, it was alright. No regrets. I've eaten plenty of "weird" foods, such as rocky mountain oysters and the such. Definitely not a go-to by any means, but I'm glad I tried it.

The only time I won't eat things is when it has an ingredient I know I already don't like (Looking at you Crab Rangoon and your disgusting cream cheese). Other than that, as long as it is prepared properly I'll try just about anything.

So I hurd u leiked kale?

I actually don't mind Kale. I really don't mind a lot of lettuce/broccoli style vegetables (fucking love cauliflower). I can totally agree with fake meat... I'm scared for the day that becomes a food staple... And Vegan stuff I shy away from, but that's mostly because it lacks a certain substance or balance.

But pickled fish... Like, lutefisk?

There's lots of things I used to not eat- cottage cheese, blueberries, tomatoes, chocolate. Some because I didn't like them, others I was allergic to. Now I eat pretty much everything, with one notable exception:

Peanut Butter

I hate it. I can't stand stuff that's cooked with it. My wife keeps trying to sneak it into stuff, but I can't handle it at all. I do allow her and the kids to eat it, but I usually put her on a several hour kissing quarantine afterwards.

lol, Caroline does that to me after I drink beers or eat hot wings or something else really spicy.

With that said, that reminded me of something else.

Pumpkin Beer.

Disgusting. That combo should not exist. You are all terrible people, those who push these pumpkin beers.

I like brussel sprouts in certain ways. Sauteed with some lemon juice cuts down on the bitterness and livens it up a little, or boiled and doused in vinegar. I can only do that rum with a Coke or Dr. Pepper. I do eat quite a bit of baked fish (haddock specifically), gotta love that flaky texture with, again, lemon juice.

I just can't loke the sprouts, even with bacon. I haven't tried them with miracle fruit though, I hear that makes them taste differently. The caps turns my stomach no matter what is in my stomach or how much I've had to drink, or how much I've had to drink of it. 100% puke chance even taking a sip. I am okay with most fried fishes and sushi, but I don't love fishy flavors.

I'm typically pretty tolerant of all foods, but one thing that i will never try again is octopus. Now I'm not talking anything like our fried friend calamari, I'm talking about regularly cooked baby octopus. It just had a texture that was horrendous and it was just incredibly odd to even eat.

Oh man, I freakin LOVE octopus. I love that chewy texture.
