Someone posted an AMA in the Introductions thread (I'm too lazy to check who). It was a fun read. I wonder if everyone/anyone else would be up for it? And if so, should it be in Member's Only?

Schedule Rules
  • Start schedule will be Tuesdays and Fridays. 2 will run concurrently.
  • AMAs will be open for one week. Expect to spend at a bit of time each day to respond to your inquiries.
  • Much like Reddit where a poster becomes unavailable after a certain time, threads will be locked once the duration is satisfied.
  • New AMAs will be added when users with interest post here.
  • All AMAs will be unlocked after Round 1 is complete.
  • If an approved TAB member wishes to be added, their AMA will be appended to the end of list. Forums members that are not TAB member can post at anytime, though it would be helpful to keep it organized. The schedule will be flexible and modifiable.
  • If the dates I've arbitrarily assigned don't work for you, you may trade with someone. Negotiate that with said person and then add me to a group PM so that I can see you both agree to the swap.
    • ThatOneGuy, Dainjre, Euchale, Cheese, Keleynal and Topic are flexible and have offered their schedules for trade.
Posting Rules
  • Though people may ask you anything, you are obviously not required to answer questions that make you uncomfortable.
  • When your turn is up, you are encouraged to create a post in the Introduce Yourself, Dog, Pet Rock public subforum. Alternatively, you may create it in the members only Private Community Forum. Your call.
    • If the thread starts to get NSFW, a [NSFW] tag will be amended to the thread title. If it is not promptly added, please hit me up in chat or PM me.
  • Your first post must include a photo. Any photo. It does not have to be of you.
  • Sample thread titles:
    • TAB AMA: Euchale - Germany Edition
    • TAB AMA: Dainjre - I saw a duck
    • Reddit Samples
New members who are actually using an AMA as a fresh-out-the-gate introduction to TAB need not adhere to the schedule or posting rules. By all means, go nuts! We'd love for you to join our community.
 
Ask Me Anything - basically people probing into all the crazy details of your life, and you get to answer them!

Bwahah.

But seriously, this would be lots of fun I think. Not sure it needs to be members only though, might be a good way to get people interested and introduced to us before they are accepted. *shrug*
 
I would do it too, my social filter is a bit out of whack so I can, at times, live outside any normal sense of embarrassment and over share.
 
So Milly, Exittus and Myself talked a bit about it during Milly's pwnage of Mass Effect 2 (pink armor OP), and we agreed that it would be fun and a good way to get to know one another more/better. Maybe a "Person of the week" type AMA, so we can have some spotlight and general organization?

This is a great idea! If we spotlight one member at a time it will help to keep things organized.

  • Participants may opt for additional rounds, but will be added after the current round is complete.
  • If a new participant wishes to be added, their AMA will be prioritized over additional rounds. The schedule will be flexible and modifiable.
  • If you wish to trade dates with someone, negotiate that with said person and then add me to a group PM so that I can see you both agree to the swap.
