How to install if you have access:
You have been selected to hit the front lines and participate in the PlanetSide 2 Beta! With a variety of vehicles and weapons to choose from, PlanetSide 2 is about to bring massive combat on an epic scale to your doorstep and we want you there!

DOWNLOAD/INSTALLATION:

to download the PlanetSide 2 launcher.

DOWNLOAD AND INSTALLATION:

1. Click the link above.
2. Click on the ”Download Now” button.
3. You will be redirected to a PlanetSide 2 login screen. Please login with the Account you created or used when registering for the beta.
4. Click on the Download button to start the download process.
5. When the download prompt appears, you can choose ‘Run’ to immediately begin installing or you can choose to save the file to your computer so you can run the installer locally from there.
6. The installer will run you through setting up your install and it will automatically create a shortcut on your desktop.
7. The launcher will require you to login using the Station Account you created or used when registering, and read and accept our Testing Agreement.

yea i got beta myself, havnt been able to play that or GW2 though lol :( I'll update my post in the AFK thread with whats happening.
 
I'm in the beta, and I just gave the game a try...
...and I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing, haha! ^^

I've sent Tristan a friends invite, what are everyone else's names?
 
I was Nahku, but I got reset recently. Now when logging in, there are only two servers available, and the rest are offline. I couldn't find any mention of maintenance, and server times seem to point to them being up (or supposed to be up).

Yeah they are currently doing a weird stress test with horrid lag. Only 1 us and 1 EU server open.
 
Appears to be them trying to stress test. We were just playing on the only US server which was the west coast one. Tristan was Tr1age, I got Belial, and Jia is Jia.
 
Meh, I'll stick to GW2 then until they open up the others.
 
Will have to try to join you guys. Have only played for a few hours. A bit overwhelming trying to figure the game out. The night battles look amazing though.
 
Leda has been down for a while now, shall we switch to Lysithia, the other East coast server? Or do you all have characters on any particular server? My gaming window is about to open up, and this game and GW2 are gonna get played like hell, so I want to make sure I pick the right place. ;)
 
I am on Thebe with the outfit I am in, but I can make an extra char anywhere as long as it is purple and cyan.
