What's new

Old school game geek-out!

I FORGOT. :D

I thought they were continuations of Soul Blazer also...right?
Yup. Soulblazer, Illusion of Gaia, and Terranigma form a loose trilogy.

Terranigma is my favorite game of all time. Shame it never came out in the states.

All Zelda games, I think I've replayed them all at least twice! Even went and bought both my kids a game boy advance plus the wires that hook up to the gamecube so they could play four swords together properly, before they came out with the downloadable version for their DS's. The one I miss badly atm is Windwaker as I turned it in for store credit when getting new games long, long ago and haven't seen it since, totally regret doing that, but I was trying to save us money at the time. I want to get the version that has the Master Quest on it, but I'd have to order it online, just never did it. I stopped exchanging games like that a while back, and our game library grew so much, lol. The kids barely have the holder space for their DS games any more *ponydurr: and now it's the 3DS. My kids are spoiled, and totally love having a gamer for a mom =D

Oh yeah, and one of the first computer games my kids played was Age of Empires II, we still have the disks, it's definitely a classic PC game. Only reason they played it was because the computer they had to use to start still had windows 98 on it, and was about the only game they could play that wasn't solitaire, hehe. Finally stopped using that computer earlier this year, lol

Contra was so awesome. Such a classic. I like a lot of the old Mario games. I think Super Mario World was my favorite though...Yoshi was so good <3. Ocarina of Time for the SNES was awesome. I like Star Tropics for the NES. Oh man super old school...Burger Time for the Atari. Countless hours spent on that game...

Final Fantasy II (i forget what the actual version is) was my all time favorite game. Ever. Period. Final Fantasy III was a close second. I definitely set up an emulator and played FFII on my projector a couple months ago. Watching Mist Village go up in flames on an entire wall...was insane =x
Ocarina of Time was N64 silly.

I actually had a turbo grafix 16! Yes, I was that kid. There was a game called R-Type....it was a passion for a while.

But, the games that sucked me into PC gaming were: Wing Commander, WarCraft, and SimCity!!! I played the shit out of original SimCity!

My favorite was when I sucked so bad and the citizens would riot from high taxes and no jobs :p

Atari :)

Final Fantasy 4 is where i first started getting into them. Fell in love with the series. Dropped out after 10 because none could compare.

Jet set radio was pretty good.

Mario Bros. and Sonic on Nintendo
