I really liked the original. At the time is was a very good game-play experience relative to the other choices. I also remember being quite disappointed in the sequels. They did add depth to the game, but didn't really improve upon the interface in meaningful ways to keep up with the other experiences coming out.
I do really like the look of the camera tricks they were showing off. I really like turn based games that allow for easy, simple turns as well as long, well-thought-out ones. It could be great if they streamline the interface enough to compete; that's a big 'if' though.
