Mouse in the House!

Hey all,

I recently built a new rig. Overall it's a pretty sweet desktop build, but I unfortunately overlooked the keyboard and mouse. As of right now I'm using a basic wired keyboard and optical mouse. Definitely wanting to upgrade at least the mouse before release and am open for some suggestions. What are some of you using? I'm looking to spend roughly $65.00-$85.00, but will spend a little more if need be. I've mainly been looking at the Logitech G600 and the RAZER Naga Molten. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Some razer mouses I like some I absolutely hate. Make sure you try it out before you buy because the shape on some of them suck and feel like crap. I use a Cyborg R.A.T +5. it has all kinds of adjustments to fit my hand and you can change the dpi on the fly.

Alright, thanks for the input. Definitely going to be ordering something this week! I may just have to take a look at that board too!

I just bought the Naga over the weekend and jumped right into WvW after I hooked it up. It was definitely a little rough to get used to and I ate a few deaths trying to wrap my brain around all the buttons on the side. I would hit 7 instead of four, 9 instead of 6, or just mash a few of them at once on accident. However, once I started to get used to it I loved it. No more streatching for 6 - 0 or the function keys. I tried to rebind my keys so you I didn't have to stretch for them, but I felt less responsive in PvP when I go that route for whatever reason.

I think I'm going to pick up a naga for release and try it out. I see there are multiple versions, which one are people liking the most?

It looks like the green 2012 one is missing the two additional buttons on the left button?

I personally own an R.A.T. 7 for FPS games, but I despise it when playing MMOs as it only has two additional buttons on the side. I recommend the G600 or Razer Naga for MMO playing.

Ditto, I'm really interested in seeing how you like the G700. They don't have it out to "try" at the local stores here. =/

I was interested in the Cyborg MMO7 mouse, although I detest the colors... I really wanted the RAT9 but like you said it's only got 2 buttons on the side.

Has anyone messed with one of these?

I looked at it, but the "third mouse button" on the top right makes it a no-go for me. If they removed that, I'd get it in a heartbeat.

Is the right button a split? Ick... I would probably inadvertently click the hell out of that the way I hold my mice. :/ I will have to see it in person then.

The third mouse button on the right is a perfect Mic Bind. And I have used this mouse a little. And the way the numbers buttons on the side are designed, it is easier to memorize which button is which. Its a 1 up on the naga for me. Plus I love logitech gear. I have never been let down by high end Logitech.

Yeah, I like the idea of using it as a mic button, but I'm afraid I'd be accidentally holding it down all the time. I need to find one somewhere that I can actually try it out.
