Greetings, fellow Tabbers! I'm Keleynal, aka William, aka BJ. I've been a member of Alttabme for several years now, and I really enjoy this community. I'm looking forward to this chance to get to know people a little better and also to tell you more about me.

I've been married for 10 years (just recently went on a second honeymoon cruise around the Carribbean!). I've got four children, Mille, female, 8; Marty, male, 6,; Isaac, male, 4; and Kim, female, 2. The picture above is Isaac. It's the only one I have to post that I found here at work. I'll look for another one tonight.

I'm also the resident fundamentalist Christian. I grew up in a very conservative, Christian home and I am raising my kids in a similar environment. Hopefully, avoiding some of my parents' mistakes. If you search through the Rant area, you can find a few discussions that I've had here about various religious topics. I'm always up for a good discussion or debate, but I detest fighting. I tried a few discussions on Reddit, but it's really hard to find reasonable people there.

Game-wise, I play Smite the most often now. I'm in Gold I League and have 65 gods mastered (that's all of the except the rat they just released, fyi). I only got into MOBA's recently. In college and for a few years after, I was hardcore into World of Warcraft raiding, but that changed once I had to work more to support the family. I also dabble in Diablo 3, Vainglory, Heroes of the Storm, and Fates Forever. I have never played League of Legends and never plan to.

I think that's about all I can think of off the top of my head, so take it away peoples! It's time for a no-holds-barred AMA!

Well, when I play Risk, I favor the strategy of taking North America since it has a high reinforcement value and can be defended at just three points. I can then use South America as a buffer or take it with still just one point of entry to defend.

In a real life hostile take over situation, I'd want to control the United States, China, and Russia, not necessarily in that order. I think I'd prefer to start with China. They have a lot of wealth, power and population. "Good" countries like America don't want to piss them off and "bad" countries like North Korea see them as allies as well. A great country to start playing both ends against the middle.

My ideal date happened while I was out on a walk in downtown Minneapolis. I was with my girlfriend (now my wife) and we happened to go by the Orpheum theater. David Copperfield was in town, so I suggested we go in just to check the prices and times. Turned out it was one night only, it had started 10 minutes ago, and it was sold out. Disappointed, we started to leave when suddenly a drunk guy came stumbling out of the theater and demanded a refund from the ticket clerk. Apparently, two in his party didn't show up. The clerk refused to take a return, and the man got more upset. That's when I stepped up and offered to take the tickets off his hands. He cursed at me when he saw I only had $80 on me. The tickets costed over $100 each, but he knew he wasn't going to get another deal. So my girlfriend and I were able to enjoy a David Copperfield show when all we had planned on was just a walk.

It was fun, spontaneous, memorable, and romantic. Everything the ideal date should be.

Both are MOBAs for iPad.

Fates Forver features 3v3 battles of furry creatures. The map has two lanes with a large jungle betweeen them.

Vainglory has more serious looking art. It is also 3v3. Its map in one lane with a large jungle below it.

I think Vainglory is the better balanced of the two. The devs of Fates Forever like to diappear for long periods while the newly released combatant wrecks everything.

I work in the life insurance industry.

My favorite place is home. My next favorite place is the Henry Doorly Zoo.

I don't think changing their genders would make life easier or harder. We'd just be swappiong problems, but the total amount would remain the same.

I like the satiny streamers best. They seem to hold up for a whole night of partying without losing any of their sheen. You have to be careful not to get the ones that are TOO fabric-like though since tape tends not to stick as well to them. No one likes streamers falling off the wall and getting into the cheese dip. I recommend using duct tape if you can tape them out of sight. Otherwise, use clear postal tape. The regular Scotch stuff just really doesn't cut it.

My favorite location for holidays is with my family. We tend to rotate having holidays in Kansas with my family or up in Minnesota with my wife's family. Both locations definitely have their charm, but I'd say the best in Christmases in Minnesota. It's a big family with tons of cousins and aunts and uncles. It's wonderful cheery chaos.
 
If you could choose an IP to get an awesome video game made from/about it, what would it be?

How did you meet your wife? What made you realise you wanted to marry her?

Carte blanche on an IP, eh? I think the Dragonriders of Pern novels would be really interesting. It could be a solo RPG or an MMO. There's great politics and conflict between the clan leaders, the guilds, and the dragonriders. The books also span several centuries and include some time traveling. The dragons' ability to breathe fire, fly, and teleport through space (and soemtimes time) could make for some great mechanics. The world itself is really fleshed out with lots of job guilds and art. Bards in particular could be an interesting class to play (other tahn dragonrider) since they are basically the keepers of all history and lore. The books are definitely worth a read.

I met my wife in college. North Central University in Minneapolis, MN. I went to an outdoor showing of "Emperor's New Groove" on campus and met her there. Afterwards, I talked at her for about 4 hours. She didn't glaze over or storm off, so I pretty much knew it must be love.

Nice choice! The Dragonriders of Pern books are excellent! Her 'Talents' Series is also fantastic.

And Kel, that's pretty much how I decided I wanted to be with Danni, I think. Lots of long-ass conversations and she didn't hate me afterwards. That was it.

Next question: In honour of Jia 's return, who is the best Resistance player on our forums, and why?

You mean other than me? Bwahahaha....

I have to go with tr1age. He totally played me hard. I was VERY suspicious of him, and then he began to buddy up with me. I suddenly felt that I was maybe getting into that inner circle of Tristan, Gyoin and others that have been here forever. But it was LIES!! ALL LIES!!!! He's my hero.
