Exactly and I been apologizing to people I date because I am totally listening to their conversation, I just can't help keeping an eye on other people as they move about. My friends are used to it when we eat though.
 
Sounds like a fun country you guys are living in, where everybody could potentially be somebody that shots you.

It would be a lot safer if these fucktard politicians would stop trampling our rights and people walked around armed.

This. The threat to off-duty cops is a lifestyle that I cannot imagine living. Law Enforcement officials don't get enough hazard pay, imo. I can't find the article now, but I remember that couple who shot the officer in Las Vegas last year spouted something about a "revolution" or "war", and referenced some sort of movement to kill cops. It's bullshit.

My mother and I had a conversation this morning about the traffic in LA. "They should build a second level for the freeway," she commented. While I agreed that it could be helpful, that money should really go into education and law enforcement.

Will admit, when we first sat down at No Name, I was really confused when you were pretty adamant about having a view at the doors and didn't like being in the middle of the place. But with shit that goes on in this world nowadays, it's not a bad idea.
 
Wow. I am so fucking glad I don't live in America. And this is why people shouldn't be allowed to just carry firearms around.

It's bad enough that I get to be classified as a deadly weapon. Let alone if you let me carry one. Get the fuck out of America. Come to Australia. At least the shit that kills you want be malicious about it.
