So I tried to take advice from other threads and sites and came up with a list of parts for a computer.

I may end up not needing all these. I'm planning on using the same case. The fan, power supply, and hard drive may be salvageable. I haven't looked to see what components I have that are any good.

GPU Notes: This video was made before we got our hands on the AMD R9 GPU Notes 280X. That card is simply a re-branded 7970 and it's around $300. This is going to drive the price of the 7970 down. So, if you can find one on sale, go for it, if not, the R9 280X is a good deal.
