What games do you wish to play with the alttabme community?
Wildstar, and any non-FPS I can get my hands on between now and WS release.

Class/Race(if applicable)
undecided

What role do you wish to play in the guild? For example: PvP, PvE, Casual/Social
I've been a hardcore raider in the past, and that's a hard habit to break. So I'll focus primarily on PvE and the social aspect of the game/guild. I'll likely only pvp if it's needed to enhance something in PvE or if we're doing some large group guild pvp. You won't find me out looking for a fight on my own - it'll never happen.

Which previous MMO's or online games have you played and how long for?
My first MMO was WoW, which I played from Vanilla to Mists and raided from vanilla to Cata. Once I stopped raiding in WoW, I played swtor until we ran out of end game, which didn't take long. Then it was Tera at launch, again, ran out of content. GW2 - ran out of content. Back to Tera for FTP. Can you guess? Ran out of content. Most recently it was Neverwinter. Don't get me started on that game right now. The wounds are fresh and I'm bitter. I've also played a large number of FTP games scattered in among those. Runes of Magic, Allods, games like that.

Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
I was an officer in a casual guild for vanilla wow. In TBC I transferred to join a raiding guild. We became a successful server first guild (crap server, but still). I was an officer and eventual GM of that guild. It was and is an amazing guild and group of people who stayed together for a long time. I'm in touch with many of them, and a number may wander to this site as well. At least 3 certainly will. One big reason for my application here is that you seem to have the longevity and closeness that I had with my WoW guild. I was in 2 WoW guilds in 6 years, so clearly I don't like to guild hop.

How did you hear about the AltTabMe?
I saw the recruitment thread on wildstar-central.com

What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
I'm very sociable, I'm told I'm funny, and I'm a good leader and organizer so I'll help wherever I can.

How much time do you spend a week on games?
I really dislike adding this up. When there is a lot to do in a game you'll find me online more often than not. I work from home and will craft and do anything I can while working. Actually dedicated playing I'd say 30+ hours a week.

Is there anything else you would like to throw in here at the end?
I am married with no kids. I game with my husband as well as a couple of close friends from games past. I play to form relationships and have fun. I like my eggs sunny side up and broccoli is the devil.

I really wanted to leave something both horrible and poorly written in hopes that I'd get an interpretive dramatic reading like that Sock guy. That was amazing.

If you let me in, I promise to provide many posts in the ranting area that will be worthy of such treatment over the years.

Have you finished all of the prerequisite requirements?
Yes (I read and replied to the rules, I understand I must be active on the forums to stay on the roster, and I have a minimum of 1-2 posts(other than this application), and I made sure those posts weren't just bullshit)

Hmm. I like it so far, but I still want to hear more about YOU. I'm loving your game experience and really happy about a married couple gaming together (LOVE IT), but tell us a bit more about yourself. Maybe pop a reply on a post or two over in our introduce yourself forums (http://alttabme.com/forum/index.php?forums/introduce-yourself-dog-pet-rock.80/).

But you're definitely on my good side :)

Edit: Something I almost forgot! I tend to ask this when someone mentions a lot of leadership in their application. As much as I love someone who takes charge, are you also able to work well in a group if you're not one in charge? No wrong answer, just another bit to get to know you a bit better :p

I posted in the intro thread, I should have done that prior to applying. It's really your fault with that recruitment thread for getting me so excited about joining.

That sort of ties in with your other question. I can absolutely work in a group and I don't have some urgent need to be in charge. I tend to take on responsibility if asked or if volunteers are needed and I think I am a strong leader, but I can also recognize when leadership isn't needed and I'm happy to sit back and let the ship sail straight without any guidance from me.

So one reason I'm so excited about finding this guild with what seems to be a philosophy pretty similar to mine, is that I will be able to play the game and help however I can without taking on the full time job it would be to get a guild started from scratch and ready to own Wildstar.

Next question!

Next question!

Love it, yes from me. And we need leaders as much as we need followers as much as we need lurkers :) All are welcome and all will have a place in our wildstar chapter as well as other games and events and and and.... yes :)
