What role do you wish to play in the guild? For example: PvP, PvE, Casual/Social
I am mostly interested in PVE since I am a carebear at heart hence why I have rolled mainly healers and tanks in the MMOs I have played. I like to gather but am not much of a crafter. When I have PVPed I found it most enjoyable when I have went in with my guild or ran with the wife. Solo PVP on my healer was like masterbating with a cheese grater, slightly enteraining but mostly just painful.
Which previous MMO's or online games have you played and how long for?
I started playing WOW in August of 05 to have a game to play with my son but he soon got bored and I got hooked. I found a guild and enjoyed the hell out of it. Over the years though, WOW lost it's draw and has become repetitive so I have been looking for a replacement. We picked up Aion and that was fun. Played it for a few months and loved the hell out of the gliding and really enjoyed the PVP and PVP bosses in it but without some of my old friendships from WOW it to lost its draw and I stopped playing. AOC, Rift, and the others have been the same.
Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
I have been in several guilds from WOW ranging from casual to heavy raiding. Over all the casual group of friends that laugh at the stupid stuff have been the most fun. (Such as doing naked deadmine runs as a guild.) I raided vanilla, BC, WotLK and a little of Cata. Did the whole raiding 25 hours a week think and realized we were not having fun, it became more like a job, so we stopped raiding and just played to have fun with friends and guildies. Wife loves PVP so I pvped with her mostly and when the guild did battlegrounds or world PVP, I would join in and it was a blast.
My favorite all time memory and quote from WOW was from my wife. After she died on a boss fight and needed a rez she said and I quote " I will give you sex for a rez?" I stopped casting the rez on the tank and switched to her that second but Peter, another priest , beat me to it and asked for his reward. She and the guild laughed and I went and took a cold shower.
How did you hear about the Guild?
I was on the fence about buying GW2 and the wife was not going to do it at all. We watched your GW2 for Newbies podcast on youtube and you guys sold me. I loved what you talked about, your humor and I laughed with you so I bought the game that day. Bruce's laugh cracks me up.
What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
I am chatty. Love to talk and cut up with people ingame, on vent, and on the forums. Love doing stupid stuff like creating ingame videos. I am not much on crafting items, but am a hoarder at heart in games, so I gather crafting materials for all to use.
Althought I have played several other MMOs, I have never played GW or GW2 so I am not sure what I can bring to the game for you folks but I can say I will give it my best, learn quick and laugh when you die. Possible even a few T-Bags if the emote is ingame.
Will Arcanix be the only guild you join?

I have been in several games over the years and have made RL friendships from them. I hope this is another start to some more great friendships.
