Hows everybody doing? Hope all is well. I just got back from a deployment in Africa and man, its good to be back in the states... Good to see you guys are still doing podcasts, and about WILDSTAR! I just came across a housing video the other day which sucked me into a whirlwind of finding out as much as I could about the game. It looks pretty badass.

Not much I can say other than I was in "The Horn of Africa", or Djibouti, Africa to be exact. There on mission as K9 Explosive Detection Team. Its hot. Its gross. Its dirty. It sucked. Good to be back in civilization. Catching up on my Walking Dead! The site looks really different from how I remembered it, lots of cool changes. I plan on sticking around, now that this deployment is down I got 2 years left in the Navy and Ill prob get out. Thinking of staying down here in Texas and going Big Oil, or I miiiight go back home to NY and go to school. Going back home to NY in a couple weeks on leave, cant friggin wait!

Anyways Wildstar is giving me a slight vanilla WoW vibe, in a good way! I just need 10 minutes in a beta to know if its a keeper or not! 10 MINUTES CARBINE!

We've got a few threads talking paths/classes so far if you want to check that out..

Ppersonally, probably going to go Soldier as I assume it'll have benefits for tanking, but gotta wait and see on that..

Also, HUGE vanilla feelings for me too, I think that's whats making so many MMO vets gravitate towards it. I'm really hoping they keep things real and make ya get attuned for raids, no EZ mode!
 
Welcome back, and nice to meet you!

I'm really excited for WildStar (despite my most earnest effort not to get myself hyped). We are killing some time in other games atm (I'm playing BL2 with a few people here and there)
 
Yea I know what you mean, that's why I'm glad in a way that I didn't even find out about this game till a couple days ago. Unlike SWTOR which I followed development for year after year. I was actually thinking about picking up BL2, and Torchlight 2, and some others. :alien12:
