At first, I'll definitely be playing mostly PvE, although if the Guild has any PvP excursions, I'll be glad to participate. Later in, I plan on playing more PvP.
I'm very social, and love to hang out on Ventrilo (or in this case, Mumble). I consider myself a casual player, although I'm always striving for the prettiest (and strongest) armor, and weapons, even if they require days (or weeks) of work.
Which previous MMO's or online games have you played and how long for?
Since I started playing MMOs when I was about 8, I mostly played free korean MMOs.
Here are the MMOs I played (chronologically ordered):
-Runescape (~ a week)
-Perfect World (~ 6 months)
-Cabal (~ 1 month)
-Jade Dynasty (~ 1 year)
-Many others (whose names I've forgotten)
-Aion (Private Server) (~ 2 years 6 months)
-Guild Wars (~ 3 months)
-Rift (played the beta)
-Tera (played the trial)
I play (or have played in the past) many singleplayer games:
-Super Meat Boy
-Jamestown
-Portal
-Portal 2
-Half Life 2
-Skyrim
-All the games in the Potato Pack
I absolutely adore indie games, since they're actually different than all those AAA titles.
Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
During my time playing Aion (on a private server, retail was WAY too grindy), I was only ever part of one Guild. It was called iRageQuit (Why? I don't know... I only remember two people ever rage-quitting.) I was a part of it since Day 1, and we progressed through the game together. As our levels grew, we fought bosses (which dropped nothing), and killed hundreds of elites (just for a pair of shoes that make you run 22% faster) while chilling out on Vent.
I slowly rose through the ranks, finally attaining the rank of Centurion, and our Legion become more and more well known, all the while we always had fun. About a year in, one of the other Centurions managed to split the Legion into two groups, and drama ensued. The legion was disbanded, and I was sad.
A few days later, our founder (whose name was Bart) created a new legion named GANK where we started anew. I had fun for a while, but me and Aion slowly grew apart. I quit playing for about a year, and when I came back, it turned out the server had been wiped. D':
How did you hear about the Guild?
I saw the Guild url under every other video I watched, so I decided to come and check this place out. So far, I've enjoyed every second of being here (well, not very second, but you know what I mean).
What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
I'm quite chatty, and I think of myself as funny (although I've been told on many occasions that I'm actually not). I'm pretty skilled, and I absolutely love helping people out. Back in Aion, at level 10, there was this quest on which I was stuck for days, so when I had some spare time, I'd wait outside the dungeon, asking passerby whether they needed help. I probably ended up doing that quest dozens of times.
Will Arcanix be the only guild you join?
Yes, it will be. Unless we go through major drama that is, but even then, I'll most likely stay.
