Character Name
Rabid

Asura
Profession(Class)
Guardian
What role do you wish to play in the guild? For example: PvP, PvE, Casual/Social
I'm Looking forward to the PVE side of things right now. The dynamic event system looks awesome and then there is the frustrating but fun jumping puzzles to do. Probably some PVP here and there now and again.
Which previous MMO's or online games have you played and how long for?
Lets see: For MMO's I played WoW for a few years, that was a mostly enjoyable experience. Then I played Rift for a little while. Most Currently I've Been playing SWTOR. For other games i've played your RTS's starcraft/warcraft series, your FPS like Quake and CounterStrike/Team Fortress, and then games like Diablo series.
Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
I was only in guilds in the MMO's. In WoW at first we had just enough folks for Raids and such and had a good time together. Eventually i was part of the leadership as an Officer and things were good. We cleared content and most people had fun. Then Server transfers came and the majority of the leadership voted to change servers. The guild leader wanted to be more hard core raiding so he chose a High pop server. Then it started getting too hard core for me and stopped being fun.
In Rift i started out on a low pop server, couldn't really find a guild there and quit before server transfers.
Now in SWTOR my guild is small but we've managed to clear all the 8 man content. Since the Server Mergers a couple months back there had been annoying laggyness with the game for everyone which makes doing most of the stuff we try to do near impossible which in turn makes things become not fun.
How did you hear about the Guild?
Well i been looking for my next game since Bioware has been ruining my experience with my last. So i have been looking into GW2, in my research I've stumbled upon your Podcast.
What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
Well in MMO's the whole point is to play with other folks. so i look forward to participating with others of this community. I'm not a super chatty person, but I'll almost always help someone out when i can. As far as skill goes, i like to think i'm decent enough at these kind of games.
Will Arcanix be the only guild you join?
I believe so.
Is there anything else you would like to throw in here at the end?
If the podcasts and other video's are a fare representation of this community then this is somewhere i'd like to belong. I think the goals of Arcanix is similar to my own, in that if your not having fun something is wrong. I'm looking for a semi-causal place to have fun, and i think i'd fit in with you folks.
Thanks for your consideration.
