Where are you from? (timezone)
Mountain Time (About 20 miles from Mt. Rushmore)
Do you have any friends who are Members? If so, who?
None yet.
Character Name(s)
Fish
What games do you wish to play with the alttabme community?
Wildstar mainly. Wouldn't mind playing some GW2 here and there, but I know you're not active there anymore.
Class/Race(if applicable)
Warrior (Tank) -- Race depends on faction. I'll either be a 9-foot-tall robot or a chunk of rock.
What role do you wish to play in the guild? For example: PvP, PvE, Casual/Social
I'm a PvE'er but I do enjoy PvP as well. I've raided in WoW as a main raid tank in 40 and 20-man raids. That's what I prefer to do. I enjoy pretty much all PvE from raiding, to instances or just questing.
With that said, I do enjoy a good world PvP fight or even organized, instanced PvP. I also like crafting and playing the economy to make gold. So I suppose you could say I enjoy a bit of everything with the primary focus being large raids.
Which previous MMO's or online games have you played and how long for?
World of Warcraft: I have been playing since release, but have not raided since WotLK. My account actually expires in about 2 weeks and I'm probably going to let it lapse then.
Rift: I played Rift off and on for about a year. But I never got too serious about it.
SWTOR: I played SWTOR from the alpha up to about 4 months after release. I honestly felt like there was nothing for me to really do once I hit level cap. That is partially because I couldn't find a guild I wanted to join to raid with. So not completely the game's fault.
Guild Wars 2: I've been playing GW2 since release (and was in the beta for a couple months). I still enjoy the game, but don't play it on any sort of hardcore level. I main just level alts (currently leveling a thief) and do WvW here and there. I wish I would have found AltTabMe while you were still active in GW2.
I've played just about every major MMO in the last 8ish years: TERA (playing that right now and having fun), Anarchy Online, Age of Conan, APB, Everquest 1 and 2, and several more.
Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
I was in 3 guilds in Vanilla WoW -- A leveling guild and 2 raiding guilds, one of which died. In TBC a friend and I started a guild together and we built it up and became a highly ranked guild, clearing all content up to ICC with me as the main raid tank and raid leader.
Outside of WoW, I've been in a guild in most MMO's I've played but nothing really to speak of. Just casual guilds that didn't do much other than small instances and PvP together.
How did you hear about the AltTabMe?
I found you on wildstar-central.com. After that I checked out your videos and site. Liked what I saw, so now you've had to deal with me on your forums for the last 2 weeks or so.
What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
Out-of-game, I'm an active community member. I like to joke around quite a bit, but I'm also capable of doing some theorycrafting or strategy talk if I'm interested in the game.
In-game, you'll get a person who will be participating in the vast majority of events. There are definitely times I just want to go roam around and quest on my own, but I play MMO's for the people I share a guild tag with.
How much time do you spend a week on games?
A normal week for me is 20-30 hours of gaming. Back in the days when I was really hooked on WoW, it was probably 40-50 hours if not more.
Is there anything else you would like to throw in here at the end?
To be honest, without trying to sound cheesy, AltTabMe really seems to be exactly what I've been looking for, for quite awhile now. I've always tried to look for guilds that put community first and it's very difficult to find them. Plenty of them talk a big game, but don't put their money where their mouth is.
AltTabMe really seems to be an active community that I want to be a part of.
Have you finished all of the prerequisite requirements?
Yes (I read and replied to the rules, I understand I must be active on the forums to stay on the roster, and I have a minimum of 1-2 posts(other than this application), and I made sure those posts weren't just bullshit)
