My main concern with Guild Wars 2 is the PvP. I try to be a versatile kind of player, fitting into whatever roll the situation calls for. I think that the rogue is a good character for this. If the guild is looking to do world PvP, which I know it is after perusing your forums
, than this I would be a strong asset for you. I prefer to follow the directions of a group leader; however, it's very common for me to want to start up a group if nothing is going on. I am a pretty social player, but will mostly lurk in chat and let my presence be felt rather than read. I do like the PvE function in this game as well, and am working on a Charr Guardian to help in late game content. Another thing of note probably would be my stance on crafting. While I will raise my own crafting skills, in past games I have always donated to the main guild crafters, what's best for the guild is best for all, as it were.
Which previous MMO's or online games have you played and how long for?
I've played most every major release to some degree. It's probably better for me to only list the ones that I've invested considerable time into. I started playing Ultima Online at the age of ~10 with Falx and Vydel, I continued playing the game for several years until the release of Diablo II. My Diablo II diet fluctuated constantly throughout all the years up until Diablo III release. Between that I played a considerable amount of Shadowbane (2-3 years) I played WoW from vanilla up to the Cataclysm release, and League of Legends from beta to date. Derp, almost forgot Guild Wars 1, which was off and on till now, also.
Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
I was part of a handful of guilds in UO, including my own. The most productive guild I was in would be Excalion from WoW. We were a top raiding guild on the Mug Thol server (had wrong one in previous app...), where I played as one of two main raiding rogues for most of my time spent with them (~3.5 years). While I was offered to post of officer, I chose to decline it in favor of being able to continue raiding without the hassle of political drama. I continued playing with the guild until we had too few players to raid with after a guild split just before the release of Cataclysm. In my time with the guild I was given access to the guild bank, and several of the class leaders accounts for times when I had to sub for them. I only bring this up to stress the amount of trust I was given.
How did you hear about the Guild?
Falx told me about the guild some time ago, assuming you mean Alttabme. I was recruited by the WoW guild; however.
What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
I am an experienced gamer, with a lot of focus on MMOs. I keep up to date on things like patch notes, crafting, and the current meta-game.
Will Arcanix be the only guild you join?
Assuming I get in, yes.
Is there anything else you would like to throw in here at the end?
I feel as though I could be a great member of this working and productive team. I also really want to play with my friends, and to be able to make more friends and keep a positive disposition within the guilds community. Thank you for your time and consideration.
